Cross-Cultural Moments: Opportunities for Awareness You can manage change and complexity; and tolerate ambiguity and uncertainty, or put them to work as catalysts for personal and professional progress. Living far from status quo, simplicity, clarity and certainty can open up creative thinking and provide wider perspectives that help you make the difference you want to make. Coaching is a methodology to help people achieve the positive change they want in their personal and professional lives -- and for their organizations. I guide and support the process through evidence-based practices and an array of tools from various disciplines. During our sessions, you focus on the present, while I guide with questions and reflect back your thoughts and ideas from another perspective as an impartial sounding board. When you are open to the process, quite powerful insights can come forth. I bring my personal strengths to our coaching partnership -- curiosity, creativity, resourcefulness, insightfulness and critical thinking – while you bring yours. It is this interaction, in a space of trust and open communication, that brings results. Consciously developing cultural intelligence can help you move forward personally and professionally while living and working in different cultural environments. In addition, if relevant, you may choose to access cross-cultural dimensions, cross-cultural tools, cultural indicator assessments and a 360° global leadership feedback tool during our coaching sessions. I believe in the power of leading from our natural strengths, an aspect of positive psychology, and also call on: behavior-based approaches, adult-development and learning theories, complexity theories, personal change management and transition models. I actively seek new approaches that facilitate your progress. To help you achieve more self-awareness along the way, you may choose to engage in 360° feedback assessments, personality assessments, strengths inventories and values identification exercises. Results come from commitment, thoughtful reflection and hard work to rewire for desired change. You go as far as you wish to go. You set the agenda and the define the desired outcome. You can put them to work for cultural and self-awareness. |
